Hi, visitors! I’m Victoria Bao, your chef and gastronome.
The weather is getting colder every day, so I wonder what is the best meal for a cold day?
Today I’m going to introduce a good meal for winter.
Shabu Japanese Fondue
This is a Japanese hot pot restaurant.
In Japanese the hot pot called”shabu”.
Since I have recommended Chinese hot pot in my previous post.
Today I’ll introduce the Japanese shabu.
Before we start our shabu, I’d love to talk about we can get on our combo. I ordered, “all you can eat” combo, because it is best for me and my friend. In this combo we can get veggies, mushrooms, tofu and udon noodles.
The have two kinds of sauce, the darker one is sour sauce and the yellow one this sweet and sour sauce. I like the yellow one better but let me tell you something. It is always best to eat shabu without sauce. The meat or veggies will be very juicy and fresh.
In this combo, you can get all the meats you want but I recommended lamb. I think they are the best for shabu.
You can choose two kinds of soup, I chose soy soup and spicy miso soup. I love spicy miso soup! It tastes very good and please try!
The do have another dish beside shabu, if you think the shabu is not enough then you can try some sushi.
In this combo, you also can get one spoon of ice cream. I love green tea ice cream so I chose this one.

This is definitely a good place to hangout and the price is reasonable. I love their decoration and every clean inside of the restaurant. Their service was not what I expected. The were every slow and keep me and my friend waiting so long. However, the shabu was delirious, so it all worth it.
My evaluation: ★★★☆
